I had the most delightful experience at this adorable coffee shop! It's such a cute spot, and I absolutely love the way they cater to teenagers! I tried the Cowboy Carter Cappuccino, and wow – it was rich, smooth, and absolutely delicious. It paired perfectly with the Bananas Foster Waffle! Such a great combination! If you're looking for a cozy, fun spot with fantastic drinks and treats, this place is a must-visit!

Super cute place, service was amazing. My grandma order a latte with honey (Delicious!!), my mom the hot cocoa no sweet at all, but just perfect taste, and me a matcha latte with a little bit of lavender syrup. We had so much fun there.

The coffee and waffles here are amazing! The staff are super friendly and the environment is great. Whether you’re stopping in to get a coffee and waffle or staying to study it’s a great spot!☕️🧇My go to is drip coffee, but the seasonal drinks are also delicious!

We’ve been going to this coffee shop for years and the people are so amazing! The coffee and waffles are excellent but it’s the amazing staff and owners who make this a special place in the community. From the bookshelf with a wide variety of genres, to the outdoor seating and shaded patio. I find myself coming here more than any other coffee shop. MT Goat is a pillar of the community in GVL.

One of my favorite places to stop for a coffee and waffle before a long work day. Their liege waffles are amazing, and they always have creative and beautiful beverages. Staff here is always super welcoming and the vibe is 👌. 100% of their profits support at-risk youth. Not every day you find a non-profit business like this. You won't regret supporting them!

Excellent coffee & food!! Plus they fund adventures which is near and dear to my heart. Oh, did I mention they have beer. Haven’t partaken but somehow comforting to know it’s there!

Went here to check out the hype for breakfast. It didn't disappoint. The waffles were amazing. The Berries and Cream waffle was cooked perfectly And the berries added a perfectly sweet favorite. The black coffee was amazing as well. The service was quick and everyone we interacted with was friendly. Don't miss this spot!

Mountain Goat – A Waffle Lover’s Breakfast Haven If you’re on the hunt for a cozy breakfast spot that gets waffles just right, Mountain Goat should be at the top of your list. Nestled in a laid-back, welcoming space, this place blends charm, flavor, and a sense of local warmth that makes you want to linger long after your plate is clean. It’s one of those places that feels like a neighborhood secret. If you’re serious about your breakfast – or just craving a really good waffle – Mountain Goat is well worth the stop. The staff was friendly, the place was clean, and there wasn't much parking but it was decent. They also sell more than just food; clothes, glasses, and other trinkets. Lastly, there's a cute pay it forward board where you can get a free drink someone else already paid for (just pay it forward for the next person if you're feeling up to it).

had to immediately write this review because the girl up front was so sweet! i wish i got her name, but i told her it was my birthday tomorrow and she dressed up my coffee and waffle :’) the waffle btw was absolutely delicious, i’ve never had one like it. like a cross between a thick french toast and classic waffle.
